There are so many jobs needing to be filled. They may bring or send you a laptop to work customer service or tech help, where it's tier one level, pay is usually 20 an hour starting
You will probably spend 2 weeks online studying low level tech support with cheat sheets
eg: 1) Is your computer turned on
But of course you will have some gut feelings from experience over time and go right to that.
In general, most companies have an issue resolve time period of 10-15 minutes.
If you can resolve issues in 5 minutes or less, you will most likely get bumped up to Tier Two
