It discusses and supports with at least one peer reviewed study that hormonal therapies for youths who self-identify as trans reduce suicidality. Maybe you can check my math her but pretty sure _not_ killing yourself also increases your lifespan. -

Not chopping your balls off does not = reason to kill yourself, mental illness = reason to kill yourself
You don't treat mental illness by chopping off body parts or taking drugs with the intent to prevent puberty.

Well as mentioned numerous times, hormonal therapies do empirically reduce suicidality in people who identify as trans. Uhh so yeah, you’re just wrong bud, it’s a medical intervention that does in fact treat a condition. -

Key word empirical...chopping your hand off if you had hand pain also stops the hand pain...doesn't mean chopping it off is the best solution...

Can you provide some literature on effective medical interventions that treat what you’re calling mental illness and reduce suicidality in people who identify as trans?
I mean hey, let’s be honest, there are side effects to hormonal treatments. And lots of downsides to surgical interventions. I’m not denying that. I’m just saying, there is pretty decent evidence that these interventions lead to less people killing themselves and there’s not a decent competing treatment.
You just seem more interested in talking about children’s genitals though. Gotta protect the sacred genitals -
