Well received at parties and great on warm summer nights it's a "spin on the classics" drink that doesn't operate by trying to cover up the actual alcohol in the drink.
Ingredients:
- 1 serrano chili (you can use more but it can overpower the rest of the drink quickly)
- 3oz london dry gin (gordons is my pick, beefeater also works great)
- 1oz dry vermouth (omit to get the "spicy winston")
- 1/2 fresh lime
Directions:
- Combine gin, vermouth, lime, and chilli in a shaker filled with ice holding a few slices of chili in reserve for garnish.
- Shake vigorously and enhancement through sieve or cloth to remove chili seeds
- Add garnish, serve as is or with additional ice to keep it cool longer
Disclaimer: much more fun going down than coming up.

That sounds pretty good though I've not got any of the ingredients, it's odd what you can do with drinks to make em nicer/different.
I've got a couple of bottles of plain vodka in my cupboard and some caramel vodka too so give me a recipe for one of those.

Make it with the caramel one and call it Brown Russian.

Yea, that will work. Call it "Poor Black Russian".
I wouldn't add the chocolate to be honest. Too much sweetness.

You got no milk in your house but two kinds of Bailey's? C'mon, son.

Other than bloody marys I don't really drink vodka, although I did make horseradish infused vodka once. It goes well with a heavy meal.

This winter my two main drinks have been negronis and emeralds (2 to 1 irish whiskey to sweet vermouth, with orange bitters). I don't usually go for whiskey drinks but it's nice on a cold day.

lol, once time when I went out with some coworkers one one of the dudes tried to order the same drink, but he was kinda drunk and English wasn't his first language, so it came out as "negro martini"

The best way to drink vodka is to buy some Bushmills and pour the vodka down the shitter.
