Multi million dollar amoral idea

An app/add on to Google maps where you integrate your vehicles information and it tells you the estimated amount of fuel you will burn and the cost. Can also update you on local gas prices and shit and other vehicle related things.

It's amoral because it would be adding more info to Googles cloud and adding new ways to track people. I can't be the first person to think of this.

So if anyone wants to steal my idea they have my blessing, I'm gonna go sell carfentanyl to pregnant teens with a clear conscience

It would never be accurate as driving style has a lot to do with fuel consumption...if you drive like a foooking nutter then you're going to burn a lot more fuel than Granny Adams on the same route who never exceeds 25mph.

Yeah but Google maps already clock's your speed and it could make an aggregate of your driving habits. It would be pretty close to accurate and people would use it and love it

The only thing that might impede it is having to turn off the driver settings if you are a passenger or switch between car models if you have multiple vehicles. People like to just put on Google maps and go, so a widget to turn it on/off would be ideal

you obviously never drove your car with full load of people and things.

especially ''americans'' which are by default, obese.

You've obviously never driven a robust, rugged American vehicle designed for carrying around obese North Americans

But the point is fair, especially with trucks with heavy loads, this is how moving companies calculate weight and price accordingly. The widget/add on in question would just have an estimated cargo weight and adjust for that. It could theoretically be used for trucking or integrate some of their data (they do these calculations all the time and people assume they're stupid) but a universal app to use would probably cost a few people their jobs
