    Anyway the whole point of Rolexes is that they are so expensive, so you can show off to others how rich you are, and if you are stuck somewhere you can sell your watch for some quick cash.

    I have a €40 Sekonda that looks like and does the same thing as a Rolex, it's not like you are actually paying the money to tell the time. Rolexes don't even come with a light or any of that other good stuff.

    The whole *point* of buying a Rolex is that they are expensive. They're more a store of wealth than a timekeeping tool. They're the bitcoin of watches.
