Many people say they didn't feel much at all their first appointment or took weeks to see any benefit but I most definitely felt it yesterday even at 56 mg, and tomorrow I'll be moving up to 84 mg.
If you want to beat depression the answer is not in a pill. The answer is in your ass. As in get off of it and do something productive. If you force yourself every day to do so, within a month you will see the light at the end of the tunnel. That is the simple secret kid. -

Yeah yeah yeah everybody knows the old “go for a jog secret” and if it was so effective then chronic depression wouldn’t be such a pervasive and persistent issue in modern day society. -

Going for a jog is not productive. But you just hit the nail on the head without knowing what you said. Modern lifestyle is sedentary and leads to depression. -

I am far too educated on science and the subject in general to listen to your belittling edgy bullshit. Yes, exercise is a very important and useful tool for improving mental health, but neurochemical imbalance and damage to neural pathways is a real thing that cannot be corrected by the release of endorphins and dopamine.
You might as well tell someone to go for a jog to cure their cancer. Your generation as a whole is largely uneducated and ignorant to the reality of mental health issues because you grew up in a society where it was ignored, dismissed, and swept under the rug. -

realistically how many days have you jogged or exercised for 45min+ back to back in your life?
Under 30? SO you never listened to the old "logical advice" he's giving you.
Rather you just sit on your ass, depressed, dismissing anything that would require you to get off your ass and do something for 30 consecutive days.
A lot of people are losers because they do next to nothing other than watching TV and using their phone, ofc they're depressed, look at their life, lol.
When was the last time you walked a mile/1.7km? -

I am not talking about exercise. I never said to jog. I said get off your ass, stop feeling sorry for yourself and making excuses, force yourself into a productive endeavor in pursuit of a goal. If you do that every day within a month you will find a path back to the light.
Or just sit there and argue with me at your keyboard and listen to pill pushing soft science headshrinkers who have prescribed all the other crap that didn't help you.
Either way I'm still happy... -
2022-03-30 at 11:11 PM UTCBTW I know all about altered neural pathways. Been there done that got the Tshirt. Never got anything that helped from the quacks. But I've overcome and even flourished based on the advice I'm offering you.

You're the one who decided to try to stir up negative shit over one of the only positive posts I've made in months, for no fucking reason other than to stroke your ego and feel superior to someone you don't even know. Don't patronize me over my desire to argue when you're the one who came into a thread where you never post just to belittle me and attempt to make me feel bad.
Go fuck yourself you bitter old man, and work on your insecurity. -
2022-03-30 at 11:19 PM UTCI'm leaving this shit hole because I don't need this negative influence in my life anymore and 90% of my visits here just bring out the worst in me and force me to interact with retards like you.
You win. Goodbye. -

Lol pretty presumptuous of you. Last time I walked a mile (actually 2) was this week. I also do HIIT. I used to run consistently and at one point in my life twice a day. I stopped that years ago, didn’t exercise, and was very unstable for a long period of time. At this current point in my life I make more money than I ever have. I’m in a stable relationship, exercise regularly, eat healthy, productive daily, travel, entertain, accomplished in my career and friendships, yadda fucking yadda but guess what…still deal with bouts of depression.
I’ve always found that people who don’t actually deal with chronic depression usually give the worst advice towards it. -
