    It's pretty funny how the TPP almost went through (and definitely would have if Hilly was elected) then everyone admitted afterwards it would have been disastrous. That alone was worth electing Trump.

    Idk how to deal with Chiner appropriately other than cutting off your nose to spite your face by boycotting them. Offering sweet deals to their export destinations might work too but would likely require migrant labor to fulfill

    Sure but I was thinking more of the manufacturing and logistics networks that would force chiners out of jerbs (typing jerbs just autocorrected to "Jerusalem" and I think my phone is possessed) and could create a class of previously middle class of dissatisfied workers, sympathetic to the plight of Taiwan and Hong Kong. Imagine if the unemployment rate hit 9% in China and all the 2 decade old SEZ cities that were designed for manufacturing and commerce were full of unemployed chiner mill3nials? Chiner would have to do huge transfer payments, similar to the ones Trump did for soybean farmers in response to his own ill advised sanctions and chiner would have to cash in some debt and bonds, potentially having more repercussions

    The Risk Free Rate is the rate earned depositing your money in dollars or euros in a large American or European bank.

    Right now it's at a 0% interest rate.

    Yet Russia just lost access to $300 billion in risk free deposits as the result of the sanctions.

    Zero risk becomes 100% of investment unavailable, overnight.

    In theory it might be unfrozen, some day. But risk free it is not.

    Therefore the entire concept of risk free is bunkum. Your deposit is at risk. Anytime they choose to grab your money, they will do.
