The economist magazine is a neoliberal order mag and uses this to justify its perspective. It's pretty keynesian/FDRish in its approach to economic issues and interventionist in the interest of western issues, usually economic. I like alot of their foreign reporting simply because they use data sources in other countries that I'm usually not privy to. Even when they're manufacturing consent I like the way they do it, as well as the format for the whole magazine. I had a subscription for about 7 years (including while I was incarcerated) and recently canceled it due to a few reasons
I'm an economist apologist as a profession because that's my major and I at least have an idea of the theory the economist is usually trying to justify. Most abstracts have an intuitive aspect when backed up by theory. Most economists are trying to justify limited regulation, trade offs and ways to affect positive change with net benefits without having macro repercussions. It's hard to test macro theories in a vacuum too.

I'm pretty much an apologist for all economists though, from solow to Sowell to Carney to Smith. I can defend any of them IN THEORY

The Dems just figured out Biden and his gang of New World Order thugs are going to throw them under the bus along with everyone else. They actually thought they were immune and had some kind of special status. Pretty laughable.
