Her name was Gracie. It wasnt peaceful. I crushed up some fent and kpin to try to help her but by the time i was putting it in tbe needle she was already gagging blood and struggling for breath. She was a really good cat and im mad i didnt do more. I knew she had a bunch of things wrong, and knew i couldnt afford to treat her cancer but if id known it was a facial abcess thatd do her in i wouldve gladly paid the money for antibiotics to keep this from happening. She found me years ago in the back yard when i was in withdrawals and sick and she loved me when no one else did. Love u bbygurl.

Talking to LaLa on the phone was the only thing that got me through it...
I was calling her crying and she never turned me away day or night ...And I never ever will forget that for the rest of my life ... I know it hurts...and I’m sorry you have to go through missing her ...

Yeah im trying not to think about it too much. I held her for an hour or so after she died. She always liked cuddling with me. I wish itd been more peaceful. She just got really bad really quick.

Lacking a presence sucks and can be hard to understand but he left a mark and that is far and away more important than the linear quantitative time the cat spend on the earth. I went in my friends shed the other day to help him move a fridge and they had their cat that had been dead a month in a box covered in a veil so we decided to leave it and not disturb the cats sanctuary. It felt like the packed shed was a pyramid full of things the cat needed for the afterlife and we were in Egypt. We Indiana jonesed put asses out of there and left the fridge in his kitchen so as not to disturb king pussykahman
Thx guys. She was a really good cat. I shouldve listened to Falco n had something on standby to dose her with in case this happened bc it was really fucked up. Idk where that big of an abscess couldve been bc i felt her snout all the time to make sure her teeth were okay. I guess im gonna bury her tomorrow in the yard somewhere.

Sad...I have a rescued kitty named ganji that's we've had for about 4 years and was somewhere between 5 and 7 when we got her so she's pushing 10 now.
She's my favorite out of my 3 cats and was thr first we rescued since I got out of jail.
Just like your kitty, it's gonna be sad day when ganji goes...I do take comfort in knowing that I gave them the best life I was able to and at least they will pass in a good home, which I'm sure is how you feel about your kitty too caspa.

I'm so sorry for your loss Casper. That is very sad to hear. She was a very beautiful kitty and she reached a very long age for a cat, meaning she was well loved and cared for. I am sure she knew that towards the end as well. As long as she knew that, she could go feeling safe and loved and that's about the most that even the best of us can hope for, and I think animals are good about that. They know who is important to them very well. It seemed like you were important to her.
So, all the pain your feeling right now, it's coming from a deep place of mutual genuine love. You had a connection to that animal that people really don't often acknowledge even exists, but it does. It is beautiful to have felt that level of love for an animal and while the pain is still pain, it's because you had something wonderful and to be cherished.
May she be forever loved and at peace. And may her spirit love on in your love, wherever it goes. Remember everything she taught you.
