Emissions tests are just another form of tax. Ohio quit doing them before it ever affected me.
My brother moved to Pennsylvania for a while and they had some real fucked up tests and you couldn't have any rust on your car larger than the size of a quarter and and holes at all in the car's body would keep you from being able to register it.
