Yes this is actually good. I went on a date last week and the girl asked if we were splitting the bill. Not some self entitled whore that I would rather beat to death for expecting me to pay for everything.
I do enjoy good conversation and listening to what they have to say. If you show that sex is the last thing on your mind and plan a second date then they respect you more thus increasing the likelihood of fucking them. I can kinda guage if a girl is willing to come back after one date anyway.

What I think when he's taking pictures are the people sat BEHIND him or w.e.
Like if I was coming back from the toilet and saw that he was taking pics in the general direction of where my friends/ girlfriend were sat etc. I would immediately lose my shit and demand he show me before administering a beating.
