   United First Class for transatlantic is no where near as nice as I would have expected.
   
   Flights seem to go from $1,400 on up to around $7,000. I admit, it's nicer than Ryanair. I guess if you have the money it's worth it to ride up front with the boomers.

    If you fly normal class how do you deal with being tall on a plane?

    I've flown "1st class" a couple of times (I don't think they call it that anymore). It was great...drinks and snacks on call, lobster dinner etc.
    
    ETA: first time they came around with those hot towels and stewardess said "Hot towel sir?"...I looked at her bemused and then spotted someone else wiping their face with it so say "yes please"
    
    But no, mostly I fly economy+ I pay the $150 extra for the extra 6" leg room.
    
    
    BTW, STL lives on social security, he can barely afford a new toilet flapper.
