why octlet?
Zok was a person before Zoklet existed. He would call me "king of Troll" which everyone did on the dialup. then no one called me that for a while, I left (kicked off with the User Digital Avatar) during the dialup days. then found totse.com just out of curiosity. literally that month enigma who had chimed in with his silly Chat Bot told me he was still setting it up and to come back later.
then I was kicked off (using Greenspam which was my old user name). prior to coming back, Enigma said "I don't mind you on, just behaive, however if the users ask me to kick you off, I will. and they did.
When I came back around 6 months later, I saw Toilet Duk (Victor) and a few others I remembered. but I didn't know Zok, and someone told Zok about this story that when I first started on the dialup around 92-93, the first chat thread I entered was about solving some code thing.. And I thought it would be funny to post a line-noise (drop line)
anyways, someone told Zok and he continued to call me that for over a year and would randomly boot me off of the IRC channel
I'm like, Who the fuck is this new guy? fuck him. even after I left TOTSE.com (or forced off.. got a screen that said robot.txt when I tried to log afterwards)
anyways I got to know him. we had got friendly for a while but then he and I would get on each others nerves. I thought it was unfair he was one of maybe 3-4 controlling the IRC channel #totse plus everyone would stop going in the totse channel and go on #zok instead.
I found out later that apparently robot.txt is some script that can retro change an html page or board or some shit. there was something about Trump on reddit getting shit edited out. I think it was reddit. -
