Gabapentin and Aleve or Motrin is all they give these days. you need to rest it for a few days then move around a little each day. they discovered that sitting and resting for months (as they used to 20 years ago) the back just stay in pain and would keep locking up.
moving around works the muscles. so yeah, I'm in pain a lot but I have to move around now. -
