   gabapentin is the most widely off label used prescription. I love the stuff, I like it a lot more than xanax because I don't feel overly sedated and at some doses I actually feel energized.
   
   plus I'm pretty sure there isn't any real withdrawal to it.

    I talk to fellow vets at when I go to appointments at the VA. The VA uses Gabapentin like a fat kid uses hostess products. I have heard more vets describe serious vision loss with long term proper use than I care to think about. The VA knows the data and doesn't give a shit.

    What is with most people on here and shit ass drugs? I mean sure it was acceptable when we were all under 18 and had no solid plugs or spare cash but I'd guess the majority of us are 25+ by now get with the program niggas.

    that's because they are vets and already have tons of other problems bud... (the older ones) a lot of vets have been on tons of blood thinners and other meds long before gabapentin came out... its like a chicken n the egg kinda deal..
    
    my vet friend that is 60 years old has his leg cut off, doesn't take gaba, gives it to me, but he has a plethora of other problems and still takes meds.. his doctor told him that smoking cigs and drinking milk his entire life has caused him a lot of problems (probably more than the gabapentin he doesn't take they prescribed him)
