Should I learn Kotlin?

It surely is, but there are interesting and/or good JVM languages that don’t suffer from Java’s limp dick design.
Not sure if I consider Kotlin that though. I mean from the user experience perspective it is much better than Java, type inference, better modules, and pattern matching do ease a lot of what makes working in Java feel like rowing a boat with one oar. But it’s one of those languages that like goes out and ransacks good ideas (but not the great ones) in other languages and drags them back into something that’s very Java-like kicking and screaming. So idk, I’d take Kotlin over Java any day of the week, absolutely, but what I’d really rather be doing is reading my SICP -
