2022-02-01 at 1:01 AM UTCThat’s really sad. I’ve been to a graveyard for homeless people and prostitutes before in London, Crossbones graveyard. There were 15000 people buried in this small space.

I was homeless for 3+ years but I only had to sleep outside outside like in the grass maybe 30 times. I'd usually be on someone's porch or a bando/vaco most of the time but it still sucked ass. Most of the porches I slept on were outside too but at least had a roof if it rained or snowed.
I've woken up MANY times completely covered in snow though which would kinda suck.
I always thought it was difficult to take a shit because sometimes ur not by a fast food place and have to pinch a loaf in the woods or a random lawn which is difficult sometimes cuz u don't wanna get caught with ur pants down u know, and u better have a leaf or a piece of paper or old sock or something to wipe your ass because showering is a rarity as well. I'd be lucky to shower once a month sometimes lol.

3 years dam man. They say there's a formula for how homelessness takes years off your life. I kno every year of prison is apparently 2 years off, or possibly 3 not sure
There was a guy locally who everyone considered homeless but he was basically just this grubby guy who would hang downtown and had done so for at least 30 years. He was scitzophrenic but looked like if you cleaned him up he would be a completely respectable and charismatic man. He was a drinker but didn't do drugs, sometimes I would be walking at night and he would be in an ally yelling at nothing but usually he was pretty nice. He never asked for change either but he was such a staple of the city he would stand or lean on a wall and have his pockets filled up very quickly
Well after decades of drinking listerine and being essentially homeless (found out he did actually have an apartment and a well off family but never stayed there because he was so used to the homeless lifestyle) he was wandering around with his cart full of bottles one night and a drunk college kid from another province ran him over and killed him before fleeing the scene. He died in a freak accident after decades of such hard living. Kind of like Sam Kinison in a way. Rest in peace, he seemed pretty gentle and after he died a lot of good and interesting stories about him were put in local publications. I think the kid got a pretty short sentence and if I ever meet him I'm running him over with a shopping cart -

I got hit by a car so hard it blew me out of my shoes and broke my ankle when I was homeless. Dude ran a stop sign right when I was crossing the street and smashed me and I literally got blown into the cross street and another oncoming car had to swerve and miss me.
There's more to the story but its long lol but basically the dude picked me up that hit me and I was dopesick so I tried to ask him for money but he was like no ur a piece of shit basically but I couldn't walk so I made him drop me at my mom's house and I basically crawled to the door and started banging on it and she was about to go to work it was like 7am and she was like wtf u retard why didn't u go to thr hospital so then she took me to the hospital and I had to get a splint boot thing I had to wear forever
I was in a court case to get money from the dude forever but I was so junked out with warrants and shit when it was happening I just blew it all off like a fucking straight retard. It's been like at least 5 prolly 6 years now
