Some people aren't used to others taking a concern with them so I think it's difficult to genuinely accept that someone else cares, especially when it's a "stranger" from the internet.
We're all pretty prideful too so its just difficult for people to admit any faults at any time, especially in public to an entire group of people, but I've found it quite freeing to be able to do so.. it's more genuine and real when you can admit your flaws and embrace your imperfections.
If a person genuinely thinks they know it all and refuses to accept outside advice, that in and of itself tells you pretty much all you need to know. Pride is a tough pill to swallow. -
