Anyway he took off for a month and then came back and said he'd married her there and was going to work on the paperwork to get her here.
She started divorce proceedings a couple of months later and her lawyer tried to hit him up for half of everything including his 401k.
He had a bit of a mental breakdown so I naturally abandoned his friendship at that point.

I guess ugly dudes just make bad decisions like that a lot, because I've known multiple older men with decent money who went to a foreign country and either tried to live there with a chick or bring her back here and not ONCE have I ever seen it be successful where they "fall in love" fr fr and get married and are together for 30 years or whatever.
It's to the point now where you have to question their sanity because I feel like they know what they are walking into even if it's only because everyone they tell about these "brides" says the same shit, that you are 110% definitely getting scammed not one doubt about it.
My mom and I got into an argument because she asked me to move with her when she sells her house and moves, she walked out on her job today and. I told her like I didn't plan on moving back in that's why all my stuff is packed up in bins neatly then she accused me of using her.
And folks if someone tells me I'm never coming back home and the next day wants me to find a two bedroom for us online then calls me a bad son when I say no. Like thats too much for me.
I wish I would've stayed up north or at least not moved to the neighboring town as my mom.
I'll be stopping by Aldi on the way home for a gallon of milk and some bread, I'll take a look at the steaks and cheeses too while I'm there because that's the kinda guy I am.
