I posted a joke about putting a.50 BMG round into a 12 guage shotgun because they have the same diameter, but then had to explain that it was a joke because a.50 BMG spits out around 5x (I looked it up) the powder pressure that a regular shotgun barrel is rated to handle
so yes please try it -

But it segue into that one Shotgun that shoots fully auto with a barrel magazine. I have a bad back so my guess the recoil on these things probably will show up in the morning when I roll out of bed and can't stand up straight.
