I got drunk last night. I got drunk as hell, i did things i wish i had not, daylight broke that spell. I went out last night, i got drunk as hell. I saw things i wish i had not oh God... Save yourselves.
So they had these Smash and Grab incidence multiple times. so Walnut Creek police blocked off most downtown streets with barriers. mainly to through traffic. but if you can find parking, you can walk in. they just don't want the people to come in and start robbing stores again.
so.. yeah. It was dead. I have never seen Walnut Creek this dead before. It's nothing to do with Corona this time. even in the worse of Corona, people would eat outdoors in the parklets.
and it was really warm too. up til 10pm it was still 62 degrees. but got down to like 45 by 11:30
I got a few drives in to make money. Ahmmm. Waiting for Luigi to answer my reply. i was going to see if he wanted to hit up the Marina in SF. go hit a bar or two.
no show. maybe he got kidnapped. but anyways, there were just elements of bad walking the streets. NO COPS. of course. I get pulled over for a false start at a red light even when I backed up.
but just element all dressed in dark clothing and hoody over their heads when its like 65 degrees outside. walking down the dark streets. checking their phones. clearly MOB AP was on. but there was no activity. I left. thinking how Walnut Creek business suffered from this. wait til summer. if covid is gone, the cops wont be able to hit the huge flash-mob hitting that town. they had to do the same thing to Palo Alto over at the Stanford Mall. and all over the bay. In San Francisco Union Sqaure, the Wharf, Down in San Jose. Down in LA .. everywhere. you own a store that sells expensive shit that can get pawned in minutes, it's gonna get hit.
I would hate to just be there and get stuck in the middle of some riot. they rioted Walnut Creek just after George Floyd. stealing shitloads of stuff. I never thought I would see a town like Walnut Creek have a riot. Hope the cops can get extra help. I have a feeling this shit hasn't ended. it doesn't seem to be a trend
