California has weirdos coming to it. 40 million people and we don't have the School Killings, the Serial Killers, The Chicago Gangs (Though Oakland is pretty bad for a small metro of 400k) as is South Central, Compton and Stockton.
but every big city has Gang Problems.
The Midwest and places like Texas has some weird people. violent. white people are more violent down there. especially in the south. Meth is a bigger problem per capita in the South and Rust Belt up north than California. even though not a lot of Whites live in California as they used to, Hispanics are also a victim of Meth Abuse. Black people just don't seem to like Meth. not a lot of Asians but perhaps Asian Gang members might.
Meth is destroying the world. they're in the UK and much of Europe.

Music was awesome. Weed was hard to come by and only rich people did Cocaine or you would see it being passed around at parties. Often (just like in American Psycho) bathrooms would be set up in Clubs to pay to go do lines.

here is the weirdest part. People ate fastfood back then like now, but it didn't seem like anyone got fat. at some point the food started making people fatter. I think it has to do with people loved to walk around more or something was added to the food.
Cops harrassed teens but almost never arrested them unless they did some serious shit. Having weed or Beer just got your shit taken by the cops. or made you pour it out. unless you had like more than an ounce (Here in much of California) or you had a long rapsheet. I got caught with pot several times, they made you smash it on the ground and usually pour your beer out. Unless you had a kegger. your shit got took. it has areas like Northern Cali. but less hilly and woodsy.
