this could have been you folx for the p[rice of 1 GPU

A solo miner with only 116 TH of hashrate capacity found a valid block on Thursday to take home a 6.25 BTC reward worth over $267,500 at the time of writing, only a couple of days after another individual miner had made the same achievement. Both miners are part of the Solo CK bitcoin mining pool.

I'm not sure that's even directly related to the GPU - looking into the scope of STORPORT now but it looks to be limited to controlling storage buses, ie. xATA, RAID drivers, SCSI and the like (ms link)

try running sfc /scannow from an admin command prompt window (type command in the search bar/start menu, right click command prompt > run as admin) to verify the windows install

Then keep trying to score a 3060 for MSRP and turn this computer I to an HTPC I guess.

FUCK FUCK FUCK paying a scalper. They can die for all I care.

I have been reading into the semiconductor shortage. Apparently for the biggest demand items like RTX30XX cards and game consoles, the production is actually at the highest level in history. It's just not able to keep up with demand. So what that tells me is that the economy has actually been insanely well recently. Sales growth on these items is heavily supply limited. I wonder if it's just silicon prices or wtf is gonna have to happen for chip prices to come back down.

I had a 3070 i just sold for barely above msrp. I wouldve given it to u for the $599 i got it for or whatever. I was obsessed about getting a gpu for cyberpunk (lol) so i was in the discords getting automated text alerts like 30x a day. Ended up getting a 3080 soi got rid of the 3070s

I'm going to try to run down the troubleshooting checklist today.

Last night it worked flawlessly for video editing. Everything working fast and smooth. But launching games seems to make it go nuts. I think I'll check to see the RAM sticks in different slots. I have one in 1A and 1B, maybe I should do 1A and 2A or 1B and 2B

Already did scanniw but I'll reboot and do it again after changing ram slots

It's not even booting up now. Keyboard flashes every once in a while. I think it's the RAM. While reseating it I think the left side of the heat spreader kinda just "slid". I don't know what that means, if it broke or what. but the monitors don't turn on despite the POWER LED being on.

All my case fans turn on, CPU and GPU fans turn on, LEDs turn on and it sounds like everything is working etc.

Take one of the sticks out and see if the problem persists.

Slot 4 (2B) and Ram 1 only works and boots up. I'll try plugging ram 2 in each remaining slot.

Ok so now Slot 2A and 2B work... I literally tried that this morning. Wtf. Ok. I'll test some games.
