Bad idea. You dont know if theres broken belts or manufacturing errors in the tread requiring alot of weight to balance. I did the used tire thing a few times in my younger years and got burned once. There are some things id buy used but tires arent one of them. I guess if i had some in town only beater i might but i drive 60+mph everyday so the gamble isnt worth it -

I've bought nothing but used tires for the last...ummm 15+ years...never had a problem with any of them. The guy I go to I trust and obviously I visually inspect every tire I buy. Most of his tires come from new car insurance write offs...barely used tires.
As I keep saying...you buy new tires, you're using used tires as soon as you drive 1ft. -

Thats true but you know where theyve been.
I just dropped $900 on a set for one of my trucks last week not including mounting and balancing. I could have got cheapies but ive learned you definitely get what you pay for with tires -
2022-01-06 at 7:44 PM UTCThat's not a bad deal. I'm assuming at that price point you got something a little better than Douglas All-Seasons. Make sure you put them in the back, not the front, otherwise you risk your ass end sliding out which is more dangerous than just not having good traction.

I have drivin on maypops at 90 till all the threads were showin and then some, never lost a tire like that, it was always a good tire that shit the bed on me. I used to run may pops, should have popped and why the fuk won't it pop tires , also a flat tire is just a smaller harder tire that still works for the ride home most times. them broke belts do fuk a mans day up tho -

Im glad i dont live anywhere near you and if you get in a bad accident and hurt someone with shitty tires your insurance may deny the claim cuz your shit tires. Either that or your rates will skyrocket. -
