You might be waiting a long time, the Flu vaccine for example is different every year and has been since a flu vaccine was rolled out. -

There is no '1' cancer...there are thousands. A cure of cancer is as unrealistic as a cure of the common cold (which there are also thousands of mutations..and still growing).
You can't cure something that changes all the time. -

They do have cures for certain cancers or at least effective treatments that is fact. -

It's not a cure..as you mentioned it's a treatment...the cancer CAN return...a cure would be exactly that, no chance of the cancer coming back.
Cancer is just a "Catch all term" given to gene and cell mutation...that's never going to be stopped...treated and contained maybe..but never stopped. -
2022-01-06 at 2:40 PM UTCThe detection has gotten better is all...early detection = easier to treat.
My friend back in England died last August of Pancreatic cancer...his was only detected 9 months before he died. He had some gut aches so went to the doc...turned out he had cancer and the doc said he'd had it for about 10yrs. They tried to operate but when they got in there it was massive and had grown "tendrils" wrapped around his spine and all kinds of shit so they couldn't operate and just sewed him back up.
5yrs younger than me with 2 young kids...the doc gave him 1yr worst to 4yrs at best to live...9 months later he was dead.
All the billions that is plowed into cancer research would probably be better used for diseases that COULD actually be cured. -

Man that sucks, sorry to hear about your friend. I was reading "Homo Deus" by Yuval Noah Harari and he mentions that cancer rates have infact increased despite all the medical innovations etc. I suppose you have to factor in population increase/ environmental effects. -

2022-01-06 at 2:55 PM UTCJust the fact they moved the elderly being treated in the hospital for covid into the old age homes on day one proves they were the first targets all along, and still are. You'd have to be pretty clueless and gullible not to see that.

I don't understand why cancer gets all the publicity and $$$...I guess because it's so prevalent...the fact is though that money is "wasted" for the most part and COULD be used for more "Curable" diseases.
Having lost several family and friends to cancer I guess I'm the opposite of the usual person who then thinks it's important to donate to the "cause"...I'm quite the opposite, it's pretty fucking pointless to throw your money as "the cure for cancer" as demonstrated by the continuing deaths and increasing numbers after DECADES and BILLIONS of dollars. -
2022-01-06 at 3:50 PM UTCCancer makes certain groups of sub-human parasites trillion of dollars. That's why it was never cured and all the cures were bought and then locked away.

2022-01-06 at 3:58 PM UTCSame thing with free energy. They've had it for decades. If you build a free energy device, they will confiscate it, citing national security concerns. They'll say, yes, we know it works, but that's not the point. If everyone gets their energy for free, then the market would collapse, and they won't have that. They're already comfortable in their own stink, and they don't care about any humanity.
