They actually did that in Canada back in the 1800's. If you were deformed, retarded or defected, either physically or mentally or both, Canada had a law that allowed the institutions to legally "sterilize" the individuals, for the betterment of society as a whole. And "sterilization" didn't mean just preventing offspring. It meant deliberately fatal injections, and other means to hasten their exit from the world. These persons were labelled "idiots" before their legal extermination.

I kinda like the vibe it's like a cowboy son's of anarchy. I'll probably watch whatever Deadwood is too assuming it's similar. Makes me wanna move over to Montana and move into a dirty old bunkhouse with a bunch of manly cowboys ya know? We usually like the same types of shit so you need to watch more of it and you will like it or I WILL MAKE YOU LIKE IT. -

A guy I work with described it as a western SOA too. I never watched that show either. I HAVE STANDARDS. I can’t handle bad actors. I can’t believe you right now. -
