2022-01-01 at 10:48 PM UTCMy cousins (Maternal) the Hamilton's (like 10 Greats Uncle George) and were some of the first settlers in Ontario Canada's Toronto area. Others are MacNab (Im guessing from Scotland or married a scot)
My mothers Maternal also came down through Canada from Norway. I got a whole large paper here from a distant cousin who visited my mom's other cousin in Bismarck North Dakota. They founded the town of Hamilton which I guess is in Ontario somewhere.
I don't think Hamilton is a city. it's probably an old village or hamlet that is now Toronto City? kind of like San Francisco has shitloads of districts that were English Hamlets at one time -
