I usually get 3 or 4 colds a year pre-pandemic…the one I had a month ago was the first one since before covid began…so one cold in about 2yrs…vs 3 or 4 a year normally.
A normally functioning brain would put 2 and 2 together figure out the handwashing, mask wearing, not slopping your tongue over some scragend at the bar was working at reducing those cold/flu infections….and not come up with 5.
But you're forgetting that masks have already been proven to be 100% ineffective against an airborne virus, so they couldn't have stopped influenza. But let's just say you were right, which you're not, and pretend masks do prevent transmission. Then why didn't the masks slow the spread of Covid-19, Delta and Omicron? Cases numbers were supposedly rising the entire time masks were being worn? You see, you can't have your cake and eat it, too. If you eat your cake, you no longer have a cake. -

Because they haven't been
We've had this conversation like a dozen times...put a mask on...go spit...the mask keeps in 99% of the spital right?...guess where viruses live?...if you are containing 99% of your filth in a mask then only 1% is getting out...no that's not 100% EFFECTIVENESS but it's also not 100% INEFFECTIVENESS.
You have LESS chance of catching a virus from someone if their output in your vicinity of said virus is reduced to a few parts per cubic meter of air vs 100,000 parts per cubic meter of air...
..this is all 4th grade stuff nigga. -

You're wrong, kid. Even a N95 mask (properly fitted) can only filter down to 0.3 microns, whereas coronavirus particles go down as small as 0.004 microns. Coronavirus particles are among some of the smallest virus particles known. The spit won't matter one iota. You'll be infected long before the spit reaches you. If you're infected with a coronavirus, every breath you exhale contains billions of viral particles in a solid vapor cloud. That vapor cloud expands up to 25 feet. With a breeze, or ventilation, the vapor cloud can basically hold together and travel ten times that distance. Wearing a mask against a coronavirus is as foolish as erecting a chain-link fence to keep the mosquitos out. All you have to do is breath someone else's air and you're infected. The spit won't matter at all; it doesn't change the fact. The only way you're not going to breath in coronavirus particles from an infected person is for you to stop breathing. -
2021-12-30 at 10:08 PM UTCJiggles, this may help with normal, intelligent people. Probably not so much with Speculum.

2021-12-30 at 10:09 PM UTCHe's a lost cause...the only cure is a strong case of covid I think.

2021-12-30 at 10:11 PM UTCWorks for me!
We might have a problem finding someone willing to swap spit with him though! -

2021-12-31 at 4:34 AM UTCJW..why do peoples discharge papers say The only way to not get covid 19 is to avoid coming in contact with it, as there are no current vaccinations?

It's because the mRNA gene therapy isn't a vaccine. Never was. A real vaccine provides protection from transmission and some level of immunity. This doesn't, and never did. -

2021-12-31 at 8:21 AM UTCMy girlfriend likes to wear the cheap paper masks with lipstick on.
I told her to throw it away when she gets home because it looks like a dirty used tampon. -

Thank you Mr Science
What You Need to Know
Messenger RNA (mRNA) vaccines teach our cells how to make a protein that will trigger an immune response inside our bodies.
Like all vaccines, mRNA vaccines benefit people who get vaccinated by giving them protection against diseases like COVID-19 without risking the potentially serious consequences of getting sick.
mRNA vaccines are newly available to the public. However, researchers have been studying and working with mRNA vaccines for decades.
You’re woefully misinformed but thanks ☺️
