Of course he does. Build back better is going to be funded through tax increases on billionaires. Poor baby will have to pay his share. God forbid.

even if you robbed every billionaire the government would just send all that money to Israel and hide the rest in their walls.

He is creating jobs and innovating technology. The government should be paying him. Also he just paid 12 billion in taxes how is that not a fair share

    Uh huh🙄

Despite the U.S. economy reeling from an unprecedented unemployment crisis with millions of Americans out of work, Musk enjoyed a meteoric rise, in part, attributed to the success of technology giants that emerged stronger than ever.

How the fuck is 15 billion not a fair share. Where does that money go? California is still littered with pot holes despite having one of the highest taxes in the USA, where the fuck does the money go?

"The Tesla mogul says he wants to be left alone. But he’s been living off the taxpayer’s dime for years."

All the article says is that his companies dip into public subsidies.. okay?? Every company does that. I don't get it

Musk and his “entrepreneurial”, “larger-than-life” persona is just that —a persona.

Musk is far from self-made. He was born in South Africa to an extremely wealthy white family that profited off the exploitation of workers in sub-Saharan Africa and apartheid-era South Africa. Much of his family’s wealth came from an emerald mine in Zambia owned by Errol Musk, Elon’s father. The African mining industry is known to be incredibly exploitative, with child labor, horrible working conditions, disease, abuse of workers, and fatalities all commonplace. The workers in these mines are mostly black native residents of African countries, while the owners are usually the descendants of rich, white colonists. Musk is not a “self-made billionaire,” he comes from an extremely privileged family that squeezed millions of dollars out of some of the poorest nations in the world.

With a rich family to borrow money from, and massive amounts of wealth gained from the exploitation of African mineral resources, Musk could finally purchase Tesla. Yes, you read that correctly. While it is commonly believed that Musk founded Tesla, this is untrue, and another reminder of the power of PR. Musk invested millions of dollars in Tesla in the early 2000s and paid his way up the corporate ladder, becoming the company’s CEO in 2008. He eventually fought one of the company’s true founders, Martin Eberhard, for the title in a 2009 court case. If at first, you don’t succeed, complain and sue until you do!

This is not an isolated example, either. He also claims to be the founder of PayPal, when in fact he owned another company that purchased Paypal. Again, Musk fought for the title of founder, which he won with the help of his family’s wealth. Founding a company, especially companies like PayPal and Tesla, carries lots of prestige considering the hard work that it involves. But why work hard when you’re born rich?

Musk said the government should act more like a sports referee than a player on the field. Still, he conceded that U.S. cities need better airports and highways, and that self-driving cars, which Tesla is trying to develop, but has not yet delivered, are likely to choke the highways with traffic in the future.

“As autonomous vehicles come to the fore and it is easier to drive without going through the pain of having to drive, which is absolutely coming, it will be one of the biggest transformations ever in human civilization, and there will be more cars on the road. Traffic will get worse,” Musk said.

In the future morning commute will be basically another hour in bed. The roads will be clogged with drunken people, sleeping people, people watching television, etc.
