   Basically, if I get an Alexa fire stick do I also need the Alexa dot for voice control to work etc.?

    As a side note I woke myself up last night asking Alexa for the definition of a word...(Ive forgot what the word was I asked about)...but I'd been dreaming and then in my sleep came across a word I wanted the definition of and said out loud "Alexa, what does XXXX mean?" ...which woke me up and she spewed out the answer...I tried to get back to sleep and continue the dream but that never works.
