Currently what is the best tech ogt that allows crypto to not burn down multiple rainforests with every transaction?

Ethereum? How does it achieve better efficiency? It's obviously not because the blocks are easier.

Once the US government outlaws it, the prices will go to near zero.

they won't and that's not what he's talking about

I dunno, don't do any mining so I have no idea about cost/energy effectiveness

I mean on a technical level, isn't Ethereum supposed to solve the environmental disaster aspect of it? How?

How does proof of work Vs proof of stake work?

The problem isn't that it costs energy to mine cryptocurrency, the problem is that the energy being used is fossil based

Even if we had fully renewable energy, there's still a question of whether or not it is a useless and retarded endeavour.

Has there been any comparative analysis regarding crypto vs fiat, taking all factors into account from, Brink's trucks carrying cash, to staff at Central Banks and cc companies? To the printing of notes?

If not people need to shut the fuck up. The environment will be fucked up the better we get at financial bullshit anyway so why give a shit?

Its good to weaken central governments and banks, they abuse there position (as always) and exploit fools who believe in there system. It's rotten to the core and doesn't deliver.

From health care to workers comp it's all garbage.

irregardless mining produces heat, and heat contributes to global warming.

    Wow, quite an insight.

Yeah and people produce heat and consume energy. Like Staff administrating a bloated system ($ry a racket)

Whereas a decentralized automated system doesn't have that "problem"

I would assume bankers or those who are well paid by there "work" which isn't needed CONSUME energy they are not entitled to use by the dubious contributions they make through their "work"

    Fuck fiat. Fuck everything.

Energy credits. Now that's a future metric I could get behind. Some weird social apparatus used to direct energy flows, along social, spiritual and sustainable goals.

    Meh I'm rambling.

They should do protein cracking coin or nuclear physics or quantum chemistry modeling coin

Those are all doable, so long as the solutions found are verifiable. Protein folding is more or less the same problem as a one way hashing function. You just need to write it.

    Covid vaccine modelling coin.

Fuckers... Bring up energy then don't acknowledge what I said about total energy costs comparing systems.

Fuxx u guys. Am I wrong?
