Needs couching from multiple sources and emotional support as well. The task was so simple, FOLLOW THE HOSE AND SAVE YOUR FELLOW FIREFIGHTER. Such a simple task made so hard because the trainee obviously doesn't have the heart to try.

When was the last time you took a training test like this Fona?
Some women make great firefighters because they can get into places others cant. I think women take longer to pass out from carbon monoxide as well if their respirators aren't fitted right,.
who knows.
that one person just may not have been meant to be a firefighter. I think one of the hardest things in the test is running up and down a ladder with the hose. they way a shitload. go be a firefighter fona. you're thin. less likely to drop dead from heat exhaustion.

they quite literally had to lower entry requirements for almost all of those physically demanding jobs (military, police, emergency services etc.) to bring women in, and to what end? they were never banned in the first place (except for frontline roles in the military I guess), it just lowers standards and exposes them to unnecessary risk (https://www.theguardian.com/society/2021/aug/11/female-wildfire-fighters-reproductive-health-risk - I read a few of these articles a few months back, they talk about chemical exposure but the primary problem is the constant physical strain)
