I think she was a slavic J'ew so i doubt that. I know you meant to be funny but the truth is she was involved in the Union politics however got a waver to be on this indepedent project (which Union workers get 1 waive from Union jobs per 18 months or some weird rule like that) so she was one of several leading the union strike while working as a DP on an Alec indie project. She probably was under contract and had to do so. so most likely not being a hypocrite as many believed but rather she had a legal obligation to doing so.
there was talk about her head of DP (Director of Photography aka Camera-Person) not being at the picket lines because she could have been sued by Alec Baldwin for prior contractual agreements. curious if the interview will hit on that or not. this in turn will make Alec look as if he flipped out on her because she demanded Union Breaks that Union workers have to get or the film industry gets fined hard. but on an Indie Project she doesnt get those multiple breaks. she gets the standard State law breaks. which New Mexico probably doesn't have like California does. so He was said to have been trying to Push the filming scheduled along. Because a big fucking storm was coming in. You know, the One that pounded California just a few days earlier. he was afraid he would lose clear skies. You have to have continuity in filming. a hot arid looking dry desert suddenly has dark clouds. Push to get it done and move on.

I learned all this shit taking this class. getting asked by Card holders why I was even in there. some of these Union people forgot what it's like to start out. I could have got a SAG card as well. I did some extra in the 80s which turned out to be a vocalized which could of got accepted. 3500 bucks for Initiation fees. didnt have the money. plus some of these people cheated their way into the Union.
films just dont have the flare and glamor they once did. big Green light projects are fewer and fewer and more indie groups making movies these days. look at all of the indie shit on stream sites. most are good. Gigi and I watched this movie yesterday. it started off a little painful to watch but got really good. first 20 minutes is an introduction to the characters which sometimes is hard to sit through. but it takes off.
blah blah blah.. fuck you, I just drank two triple shots starbuck coffees. suck my dick. Alec Baldwin is a talented MoFo however I think the pressure of time not being on his side at a very expensive local set was most likely factored into her demise on set.
