Sure they had Italian mob killings and shit probably since the late 1800s or Irish mobs fresh off the boat. but they usually happened in their pocketed neighborhoods.

My neighbor some decades back had fished a fishline down from his "Tap-out" into the main sewer line and up into mine. using a infrared camera and a snake like cable.
then kept running it up and around up into our bathroom sink. listening into conversations. and I'm sure it happens more and more often than people think.
