    You don't hire "perm" employees for a temp job…you want them to STAY.

    Yup. This is what i'm currently dealing with at work. There is a labor shortage and people quitting right after getting hired. I personally don't mind high turnover that much, but i'm not the one paying the salary. I saw a salary payout chart and it was like $250k/yr for 4 people. Hiring people is very expensive.

    That being said, training people can always be improved. High turnover places tend to have really shitty training and just rely on workers to train other workers, which saves them money.

    Yeah yeah. A lot of people start their statements with “responsible for” or some other passive voice. Even worse is when they start with “I.” Start with something actionable and measurable like created, developed, managed, increased, etc. and never use the word I.

    fake it till you make it nigga, I was a gal dang shovel and rake man on a excavation crew makin 550 a week and then I got some painters pants and a shirt from the paint store, said I was a painter and started makin 17 an hr, 48 months later I faked my way to being the boss and makin 50 to 100 an hr. I still don't know what a real painter knows

    Currently I am focused on maintaining a positive attitude at my current job as I should be at peace with my decision anyways.
    I'm not talking about switching jobs to any coworkers or bashing the company.
    I've made my decision and until it's time to go I might as well keep a positive mindset and be happy as it will more than likely help me stay focused anyways.
