I once called the Ignore List the last bastion of the victim. The thought alone disgusts me but those were different times. Now you can't ignore the zhitpoztz and old men flirting/fighting or you literally have to call it a day and leave. Shitnaldo is the frontposter in every thread and I'm not gonna click through his bitching and moaning every, single, day just to see if there's maybe another new post hidden under all the ratshit. I'm not even talking good posts or content, no, just in general.

A spambot can be either automated or human. If the subject is posting the same meme or graphic or text over and over again, in a feeble attempt to overcome a user, or the forum as whole, then that subject is a spambot, and should be handled accordingly. Perma-ban, IP subset blacklist. Ban on sight. Hey, they can make another account on a proxied IP and behave, if they wish, so it's not like it's all bad.

You are confused. There is no inconsistency or incongruity on my part. I don't post the same thing again and again. Sure, I may revisit certain topics often, but that doesn't make me a spambot. Plus, when I do post garbage, I mainly post it in the correct forum for garbage, Half Baked.
