Started a couple nights ago with extremely itchy and tingling extremities.
It affects both forearms from my elbows to my wrists and also both legs from my hips to my ankles.
They tingle and itch unbearably at times. There are no bumps or anything on the surface other than reddish colored skin from scratching.
The tingling at times gets so bad my legs will jerk and spasm.
My lymph nodes feel swollen under my armpits and around the groin area.
The swelling isn't very bad but I can still tell.
Id describe the itching sensation as extreme and unbearable at times.
Ive tried anti-viral drugs in case of an infection.
Ive used nerve drugs to try and calm the jerking from the tingling sensations.
Took Benadryl to see if it was an allergy to something.
Relief only comes when Im able to stay distracted and covered in lotion and anti-itch creams.
And by relief I mean I can semi-ignore it for a time until it returns.
I felt like I almost had a fever the other day but I attributed it to my hard hat being on too tight.
Yesterday night it was so bad I got out of bed at 3am and went outside in the 39 degree weather because the cold felt good on my skin.
The sensations are keeping me from sleeping for very long if at all.
My head feels alright but Im somewhat fatigued most likely from lack of sleep.
Appetite does not seem to be affected.
I've been ignoring my raynauds syndrome and letting it keep me cold instead of trying to suppress it as the cold feels nice.
Those are the symptoms and they persist day and night.
Any thoughts

rub some otc hydracordizone 1% or 0.5 or whatever it is on your tingle areas. it could be allergies to some pollen getting into your house. Spores or mold as well.
get a air purifier. they're pretty cheap these days. just take it from room to room with you
Also run a humidifier. it usually moistens the air so shit can't float around so easily and bother you

does taking a shower help? if it's some kind of allergen or irritant washing it off should at least temporarily stop it

Fungal infection? We called it swamp foot in Florida. Get some tough actin' tinactine (or off/store brand) and spray the shit wherever you itch.
Fungal infections can be very persistent and itchy.

I gave pretty solid advice and a damn good guess as to what's causing your itchies. My health issues have zero to do with my advice to you. I so currently suffering from similar issues but it's caused by the IV antibiotics I'm on. I highly doubt that's your cause.

Im going to do as much troubleshooting of this as I can while still going about my day to day business.
I have no insurance because Im too poor.
Going to take a bunch of gaba today and see if it might be nerve related as Im not broken out or anything and I already have several months worth of gabas so I can afford to take a few extra pills.
Not looking forward to finding out im stricken with chronic neuropathic itch.
What a dumb way to go out.

Btw I don't get pain killer scripts. I simply buy dope. No need for doctors. They're the ones who've nagged me for amputation. Not the other way around.
