Veterans Day No "

2021-11-11 at 6:46 AM UTCNo apostrophe because it belongs to all veterans.
Veterans Day started as Armistice Day in the U.S. on November 11, 1919 in honor of the “eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month" that signaled the end of World War I the year before. In 1954 Ike officially changed the name to Veterans Days. Then a bunch of dumb fucks in the 90th Congress (Blue in Both Houses) passed the Uniform Holidays Bill which among other things moved Veterans Day from November 11th to the fourth Monday in October (gay). But in 1975 Gerald Ford finally got something right and moved it back to November 11th for "historical significance" and never did anything right again.
It is my understanding that Great Britain, France, Australia and Canada celebrate Remembrance Day on or around November 11th. I have also read they all called it Armistice Day after WWI and changed it to Remembrance Day after WWII.
I am asking those who may or have lived there if it is true that in Europe, Great Britain and the Commonwealth countries it is common to observe two minutes of silence at 11 a.m. every November 11? -

In Flanders Fields

Yeah we do the poppy thing as well, "In Fladers Field",
In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie,
In Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields. -

If you can't afford a gram you just buy less and complain, or get more money, sell your TV for the next hit

You could teach a monkey to make it. The bench chemistry methods used are high
school level very simple stuff.
The hardest part is cleaning the pills the formulations prevented people from wanting to learn how. That's why it was popular in the 90s and 2000s because all you had to do was acid/base extract the pills and start cooking
if you tried that now you would just make a mess
