the shell game is another possibility the middle name doesn't match. -

the same sort of speech style. maybe their cousin or maybe the Police Sgt was just a doppelganger or even distant relative. -

Jeff J. and there is another Jeff with a different middle initial. which is why I figured its a shell game to throw people off. the easiest way to find out is to know someone from a Post Office who could look up an old registered PO Box in walnut creek. or hire an attorney to file a grievance against him by getting that info. because some regular joe like most of us would just get a black marker redaction of his personal info.
