What I can't fathom is this. If any person lies to another over and over on a one on one personal level it doesn't take long before the person being lied to ceases to trust anything the lying person says. In fact if you knew that literally everything another said was a lie it would be an elementary exercise to determine the truth on any matter they addressed. That is something I believe any reasonable person would agree on regardless of their religious or political beliefs.
With that being agreed upon by all but the unreasonable this is what I can't wrap my head around. For 40 plus years the mainstream press has foretold doom and gloom in under ten years over global warming/climate change. As the gloom and doom failed to materialize they would simply move the goal posts every 5 years or so.
That is just one example of multiple long term mainstream media scarratives (ha just made a new word) that has never come to pass. The most recent and most blatant example would be the Trump witch hunts. I won't bother to list the plethora of we got him this time reports that all were proven to be horseshit, gun smoke, and in the case of the Steel Dossier outright Democrat created and mainstream media supported fabrication on the part of Hillary's campaign.
So why would any reasonable person refuse to trust an individual who has been proven to lie about many topics over a long period of time but trust a group of rich personalities on a TV show who have done the same?

It's because the Mockingbird Media doesn't really get their funding, their fuel, from ad revenue. The cash is actually an endless flow of capital directly from world intelligence agencies. The CIA, the FBI, the DHS, Mossad, Mi6, CSIS, etc, etc, etc. They have worldwide funding readily available, and the sky is the limit. That's why their ratings can fall to 0% and they still keep going strong. They can tell lies and tell hoaxes 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, nothing but lies, get exposed for their lies again and again and again, and it's not even a flesh wound. To control people's minds is worth more than bullets and bombs, worth more than gold or diamonds, more valuable than money and power. They are the Constant Feature.

It's difficult to admit that the mainstream lies. It's called "getting redpilled" by some people. People need to have something to believe in, and losing faith in the mainstream is like losing belief in God.
