I feel that way at times too. the guy who owns archive and bought out waybackmachine also owns Wikipedia. Mr Brewer or Brewster or whatever his name is. I heard he's an interesting guy however dun dun dun Waybackmachine was purged so.
anyways I digress.. They removed the history pages of former Wikipedia that you once used to be able to click on and see the iterations of change. kind of around the same time they started pulling totse.com pages before placing many back on (no doubt redacted in some way)
