Lil Wayne's pretty apolitical but he made a big Trump endorsement in the last few weeks of the campaign. Kodak Black does alot of things for poor black chillins and is the mayor of Broward County which is probably close to Mar a Lago. Lil Wayne's charges were out of Florida too and I believe his permanent residence is in Florida.
I think Trump did those pardons to dissuade black people in Florida from using his perceived racism to justify robbing or killing him

Trump didn't get him out, he pled no contest to a reduced charge and agreed to be deported and never to return. I think Sweden specifically put out some kind of statement to the effect of "what Trump says is irrelevant"
