See, Facebook kills me. I had an account for may 18 months. Between all the losers airing their dirty laundry and the rapid realization that my participation made me a product that enjoyed a 0% share of the profits at the expense of my free speech I hard deleted that shit and never looked back -

Understandable.
I've had an account for 12 years now so whatever data was to be mined has been mined and then whatever . I don't really care anymore. I'm not scared to have a Facebook account but I also don't live on it or whatever. I do use Facebook messenger a lot though honestly lol. I have done lots and lots of drug transactions through it and whatever. The older I get the more I don't really care. -

Yeah I get they still have DATA. Which still pisses of Picard LOL J/K. But seriously what I'm on about is this. What give Facebook value and power? Simple, each and every one of us who uses the platform. The users are their commodity. Cans of soup on a shelf wafting for the right advertiser to buy.
What do they offer the cans of soup in return? Answer social control and censorship. So I can't do anything about the shelf or the soup on it. But I can choose to not be a can of soup.

I have to express surprise at the wiki link form you before anything else. Not to say there is no truth on wiki but...
Anyhow to continue I'm certain, based on your post history and track record of reasonableness you are not suggesting that the simple act of owning a business makes one a true capitalist.
I have worked two 1099's at NASA Glenn. The "contractor" was an Indian (dot no feathers), his wife as the principle. They, as immigrants, were subsidized by American tax payers and their company was paid a rate of $175.00/hour for every jack one of us on contract. Between DFAS and NASA Glenn they had 37 people on 1099's that collected and average of $50/hr at NASA and just $15/hr at DFAS. That is not true capitalisms but they owned a business.
In true capitalism, as the U.S. enjoyed up until Woodrow Wilson signed the Federal Reserve Act, him and his wife would starve as they brought nothing of value to the table and had no tradable commodities or labor of value. In fact what that entire situation was closer to socialism than it was to capitalism .
Think about it. They brought nothing of value to the table yet those who did provided for them. "From each according to his ability to each according to his need".
