Yiddish words always sound so intuitive. -
2021-10-18 at 11:29 PM UTCYiddish is very common even among Christian people because of so many German and Russian people. its a mix of Hebrew and those languages as phrases rather than singular words so people could communicate between the various languages. Including Norwegian and Polish as well.
It's a mutt language and also J'ewish people were not allowed to speak Hebrew until they returned to the promise land (Which was State of Israel over Israel as a whole) and then everyone learned Hebrew. Only high Rabbinic priest could speak it and which is why it survived. It's also a cousin language to Arabic. The original jedis were Arabs decedents from Africa most likely.
