They're virtue signaling to protect themselves. its like saying "For information purposes only" Some will respect that and some will not honor it. also it's interesting they'll have this for download but removed and even altered pages from totse.com -

There was previously also Paki Bash on the Amiga. A weaker offering, since it just patched the graphics on an existing game, but a noble effort nonetheless.

I had a Prince of Persia game that had a mod to attach photos to characters (but shitty low polygon) and or the posters and paintings on the wall. Windows version.
I had fun with it. but I am not a video game person.
patches for BF42 were funny. the entire squad riding on the wings of plane and swooping down grabbing flags in flag games. way better than the original concepts
