The definition of a muscle car is subjective and endlessly debated. Muscle cars often have many of the following characteristics:
• A large V8 engine in the most powerful configuration offered for a particular model
• Rear-wheel drive
• Being manufactured in the United States in the 1960s or early 1970s (the specific year range of 1964–1973 is sometimes used)
1950's cars are not even categorized as muscle cars. Besides, a T-bird would more aptly come under the "sports car" classification. -

yes. not set in stone.
but from your own sauce :Although the term was unknown for another fifteen-plus years, General Motors is credited by some as introducing the first "intentional" muscle car in 1949, when it put its 303-cubic-inch (5 l) Rocket V8 from its full-sized luxury car 98 model into the considerably smaller and lighter Oldsmobile 88.[1] The competition between American manufacturers started when Chrysler installed the 331 cu in (5.4 L) Chrysler Hemi engine in the mid-ran

Using a 486 era PC to run 496 era software is the same as restoring a 1950s Ford Thunderbird to play chicken on the backroads of small town 'MURICA…A 2020 Kia just isn't going to cut it.
Wrong.
It's like people who insist on owning a Mustang, or Camaro but can only afford the gimped v6 version.
No, he's literally playing it on less than bare minimum specs. The motherboard he has is actually for a 386, and the CPU is one designed as for doing a 386 -> 486 swap.
If he was smart he'd have gotten a Pentium I or II -
2021-10-14 at 9:35 AM UTCThere were some really beautiful cars made, and there were some really awesome and fascinating computers made.
A 486 is like a clapped out Ford Escort, or whatever the cheapest, most basic car was where you lived. That is all it will ever be, a very basic, commodity piece of hardware. The sort of thing everyone had, and everyone was glad to upgrade away from.
I just don't see the point. "Oh, look at this 1990 Volkswagen Polo. It's slow, uncomfortable, rusty, burns oil, and is ugly." I don't get it. -
