but the real problem is relying on imgur and image hosting sites in the first place. my shit has been safe for years there but everywhere else on the internet people are being censored
for example when i post on kiwifarms i do not use imgur because i know people will make fun of me. i direct upload on to their website. nobody there trusts imgur or any outside hosting and neither should we
relying on it in the first place was a bad idea. i also don't like imgbb.co or catbox. it's a vulnerability in this website as a trade off for being low cost and fast. the only images saved are user avatars, banners and background.
i fully expect in 5 years that all images on here will be blocked by every host and removed forever with no way to access them except viewing the links directly.

It was much more fluid to post from imgur and to me it feels post hoc that he did this to stop me posting my Jeff photos relating to totse -
