    Fleet Week. They call the C-130 Fat Albert which is a prelude to the Blue Angels.

    I think the media is off by 5 minutes.


    I bought some new bioculurs. It's cool not having to leave Gigi place since she has a view of the Bay and both Bridges to watch them. I'm gonna try and take a photo through the monocular I bought for the phone. Maybe video tape it.

    It's this guy. a Herculese C-130ER (extended range)

    can clear a airfield in like 1400 feet or some crazy shit. like 1/4th of a mile. most planes need over twice that. it can land in the same field as well. it's why it's used for troop movement. doesn't need much of a landing area to do its job turn around and get out.

    Rocket assisted takeoff was 1st developed in the 30's so I'm sure it has happened.
