Gabapentin is great for animals.
it can relieve pains and discomfort in many animals for many diseases. and its cheap so no one will suggest its use. should be over the counter (I think it might be in some states).
but I get it next to free for 120 pills so Im good.

It may be time. I just had to put down my 15 year old German Shepard. That shit isn't easy. I hope he gets better. I really mean that. I don't have much for adult humans but when it comes to animals, children, and the elderly I will suffer no harm.
If you do have to make that hard choice just be strong and be there for him at the end. Everyone is different and deals with loss differently.
My boy was a peace keeper his entire life. He would not let anyone harm anyone or anything. I have found a great deal of closure and comfort by planting a new olive tree at his grave.
We buried him right by where we sit on the porch and even laid some sod so he has a cool grassy spot in the desert. The effort, time, and thought put into constructing his grave was a big help in deali g with the grief.
What is par for that hole?
