You did it in Afghanistan with the illegal laser blinder when you woke up ISIS in their own houses? I saw those videos on /pol
they look blue in an all green FLIR f'ilter because they're so intense but invisible to the naked eye.

would you use a invisible laser to blind people instead of shooting them. even one eye or both? they wouldn't know what happened. just suddenly their visions would get darker and be completely blind in 10 minutes with only 5-10 seconds of shining it in their eyes.
they said it's illegal. imagine though if they could live. then they wouldn't be able to do much or be much of a threat. rather than killing them.
it somehow falls into chemical warfare I think. because the lasers use gas or something to put them in a light spectrum of destruction. -
2021-10-08 at 5:20 AM UTCit's against the geneva convention so it can't be done openly

but they were sneaking into homes. instead of killing the guy they blinded him and snuck out. in this video (though no sound) you see the soldiers suddenly looking back as they're leaving the compound as if something happened (I"m BLINDDDDD) -

We didnt use lasers for night op if “we” did use anything it was IR. But since we didnt have NV we had no need to use that. Generally you plan night raids around moonlight and visibility, weather, holidays, etc. But a good quality mounted weapon light will blind someone a lot more effectively than a laser. You only need to toggle it long enough to put shots center mass. Until then you can usually work by moonlight if you have quality intel and aerial surveillance to map the house and distances from corners, -

I asked had you of had NV and those illegal lasers, would you use them. Would illegal to blind a person be less humane than sniping them sleeping. But thanks for the reply. -

itd be very impractical to try to blind them with a laser. And lasers give away your position, esp in dark, dusty spaces, or places where it gets cold at night and your breath puts off vapor. So no- we wouldnt have. -
